The education journey at NIFT begins with a two-semester Foundation Program aimed at instilling design fundamentals, nurturing creative thinking, and fostering an understanding of the fashion business. The program provides a strong foundation for students to build upon as they progress through their chosen program. Each program at NIFT is meticulously crafted to meet industry requirements, nurturing professionals adept at driving innovation and sustainability in the fashion landscape. NIFT's centralized placement process facilitates employment opportunities for students across various campuses and courses, ensuring a smooth transition from academia to industry. Candidates seeking admission into NIFT have to meet the eligibility criteria as stated in the program brochure or official website and subsequently complete the application process and appear for an Entrance Examination, which includes LAN-based Computer Based Test (CBT) and Paper Based Test (CAT). This assessment evaluates their aptitude and readiness for the dynamic fashion landscape. Post the result declaration, selected candidates will have to appear for a ‘Situation Test/Interview’ following which the final result is declared.
