Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Deemed to be University) is the organizing authority behind the Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE), which serves as the gateway to undergraduate engineering programs offering a Bachelor of Technology [B. Tech] degree across the five engineering campuses affiliated with Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Spanning six campuses across the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, Amrita's headquarters is located in Ettimadai, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The AEEE exam is a computer-based online test with a duration of 2.5 hours. AEEE 2024 is scheduled to take place in two separate phases. The first phase is tentatively set for January, while the second phase is expected to occur around May 2024.

Individuals aspiring for admission to Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Deemed to be University) have the option to apply through the AEEE 2024 exam, JEE Main, or both. As per the university's admission criteria, 70 percent of the available seats will be allocated based on AEEE scores, while the remaining 30 percent will be filled using JEE Main scores.

What are the steps to fill out AEEE 2024 Application Form?

The detailed description of the application procedure for the Amrita Entrance Examination- Engineering (AEEE) 2024 are as follows:

Step 1: Online Registration

• Visit the official AEEE website, amrita.edu.

• Register by providing a valid email address and mobile number. After successful registration, you'll receive a login ID and password via email. These credentials will be crucial for accessing your application in the future. 

Step 2: Fill Online AEEE 2024 Application Form

• Once registered, log in using the provided credentials.

• Enter your personal, academic, and contact information. Make sure that you accurately fill in details such as your name, gender, nationality, 10+2 scores, and more. This information should match the documents you'll submit later for verification purposes.

Step 3: Uploading AEEE 2024 Documents

• Upload your passport-size photograph and scanned signature as per the specified dimensions and formats.

• Ensure that the images are clear and not blurry, as blurry images might lead to rejection of your application.

• Pay the application fee online through internet banking, credit cards, debit cards, etc.

• Alternatively, you can also opt to pay the fee via Demand Draft (DD). For this, enter the DD details in the online portal and send a university copy of the DD to the provided address.

• After successfully paying the required fees, review the information you've entered to ensure accuracy.

• Submit the application form of AEEE.

 AEEE 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Applicants desirous of joining Amrita B.Tech. programs shall satisfy the following eligibility & criteria before the commencement of classes.

• Age: Candidates born on or after 1st July, 2002.

• Educational Qualification: A pass in 12th class or equivalent from a recognized board with not less than 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics separately and an aggregate minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates passing out in 2024 and passed out in 2022 can apply.

Candidates are required to enter the marks & upload the +2 / intermediate marksheet and JEE Mains 2024 Score Card in the portal before the last date of the CSAP 2024 registration. University reserves the right to cancel the admission in case if there is any discrepancy found between the marks entered by the candidate and the document uploaded on the portal.

 AEEE 2024 Syllabus

AEEE 2024 Examination Pattern

The AEEE exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted for the duration of two and a half hours. The question paper is divided into four sections - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English. 

The number of questions under each section is spread in the following fashion:

• Physics: 30 questions

• Chemistry: 25 questions

• Mathematics: 40 questions

• English: 05 questions

The full mark of the AEEE 2024 paper is 300 marks. The appearing candidates will be awarded three marks for each correct answer, while one mark will be reduced for each incorrect response.

Declaration of AEEE 2024 Results

The results of AEEE are declared on an All India Rank [AIR] basis. The qualifying candidates undergo counselling on the basis of the merit declared. During the counselling, the eligibility criteria, self-declaration, various documents, etc. of the eligible candidates are verified as per norms specified by the respective authorities of several centres of Amrita. Admission to Undergraduate Engineering programs within the respective branches shall be based solely on All India Rank as per the merit list, whose declaration date is yet to be announced. 

AEEE 2024 Outcomes

After the AEEE exam, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham prepares a merit list based on the candidate's performance in the exam. Candidates who qualify for the exam are called for counselling, where they are allotted seats based on their merit and preferences.
