About ATMA 2024

The AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) for admissions to various post-graduate management programs such as MBA, PGDM, PGDBA, MCA, and other related courses offered by different institutions and universities across India. ATMA is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

ATMA was introduced in 2000 to fulfil the need for a high-quality entrance test that could serve as a reliable predictor of academic performance in post-graduate management programs. With the active participation of 560 top postgraduate management schools, ATMA is regarded as a credible and comprehensive test for admissions to these programs.

The test assesses the aptitude of students for higher management education and primarily comprises sections on verbal, quantitative, and analytical reasoning skills. It is conducted online and is accepted by approximately 200 esteemed institutions across the country.

ATMA is held three times (February, May, and July) a year, and the examination takes place on the premises of colleges, institutes, or schools, as specified on the Admit Card. The Admit Card, consisting of two pages, must be carried by the students along with two recent recognizable photographs, a copy of the registration form, and photo identification (such as a Passport, Aadhar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License). Students are required to reach the test centre at least 60 minutes before the exam commences.

To help candidates prepare for the exam, ATMA offers Sample Tests on their website https://mocktest.atmaaims.com/, which provide insights into the test's nature, while mock tests (https://www4.digialm.com//OnlineAssessment/index.html?167@@M193) allow students to practice and familiarize themselves with the examination format. ATMA aims to facilitate a fair and effective selection process for admission to numerous post-graduate management programs, fostering the growth of aspiring management professionals.
