National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi (NIFTND) was established in 1986 and is regarded as one of the premier institutes in the field of fashion technology. The autonomous institute holds a world class faculty consisting of well experienced teaching and non-teaching staff. They are dedicated to imparting vital knowledge and awareness of design.

NIFTND offers undergraduate courses such as B.Des Accessory Design, B.Des Fashion Communication, B.Des Fashion Design, B.Des Knitwear Design, B.Des Leather Design(FC), B.Des Textile Design(FC) and B.FTech - Apparel Production.

Students willing to take admission to undergraduate courses are required to qualify the NIFT Entrance Exam comprising three rounds such as the Creative Ability Test (CAT), the General Ability Test (GAT), and the Situation Test. GAT is the selection criteria for students seeking admission to B.F.Tech. Students from economically weaker sections are provided NIFT's Means-cum-Merit Financial Assistance to enhance their potential.

Students are provided with placement opportunities to get their professional objectives. The centralized placement process comprises three channels such as on-campus placements, pre-placement offers, and off-campus placements.

Spacious & modern classrooms, a traditional library, a digital library, course-specific labs equipped with 3D printers, laser cutting machine, shima seiki computerized knitting machine and more, two auditoriums and three seminar halls are the academic benefits that students get at the college. Along with these, there is a fully air-conditioned hostel, sports facilities, and medical services available for students.

Admission Procedure

B.Des, B.F.Tech, MF. Tech, M.Des, Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Fashion Technology (MFT) are some of the programs available at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi. Aside from that, NIFT New Delhi offers a variety of Continuing Education Programs (CEP) and Diploma Programs. The NIFT Entrance Exam is used to determine admission to UG & PG Programs. The Creative Ability Test (CAT), the General Ability Test (GAT), and the Situation Test round make up the NIFT Entrance Exam. GAT is the selection criteria for B.F. Tech.

Placements

Campus Placements provides a platform for graduating students from diverse disciplines in two-year postgraduate and four-year undergraduate programs to achieve their professional hopes and objectives, and consequently requires employer organizations' active and persistent participation. The placement process of NIFT New Delhi are centralised. Companies can hire students from any of the NIFT New Delhi campuses or courses through three channels that the institute facilitates: on-campus placements, pre-placement offers, and off-campus placements.

Scholarships
