The overall cut-off marks for NEST 2023 are as follows-

  • For the OBC candidates,  the Minimum Admissible Percentile (MAP) is 90 percentile

  • For the SC/ST/Divyangjan candidates,  the Minimum Admissible Percentile (MAP) is 75 percentile

The admission procedure requires candidates to not only attain the required MAP but also Section-wise Minimum Admissible Score (SMAS). For each section, 20% of the average of the best 100 scores in that section will be considered as the SMAS.
