The application form for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dentistry Surgery holds significant importance for aspiring medical students in India. It acts as a crucial pathway for securing admission to MDS courses within the country. The form was made available exclusively in online mode on the official website of the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences from 30 January 2024. Candidates had the opportunity to access the form portal until 19 February 2024.

 

To fill out the NEET-MDS 2024 application form, candidates need to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • New User Registration- To apply for NEET-MDS 2024, all interested candidates will be required to establish an online profile. This profile will generate a distinct UserID and Password, serving as their unique identification and granting them access to the necessary resources.

  • Applicant Login- The User ID and Password generated during the profile creation will serve as the login credentials for candidates to access and complete the online application registration for NEET-MDS 2024. Once the user profile is created, applicants can simply click on the "Go To Application" link to smoothly proceed with the submission of their application.

  • Application Form fill-up- Upon logging in, candidates must accurately provide the required details. This includes their full name, which they will need to verify on the day of the examination by presenting a valid government-issued identification proof with the same name at their designated test centre. Additionally, important information such as gender, date of birth, nationality, email address, mobile number, and preferred test city must be provided. The candidate should input the requested information under the respective categories. It is highly recommended to gather all the necessary information beforehand to facilitate a smooth application process. Before filling out the application form, it is strongly advised to carefully review the User Manual available on the NEET-MDS 2024 index page, which offers detailed step-by-step instructions regarding the required information.

  • Uploading the prescribed images- After completion of the application form, candidates must upload the required photograph, scanned signature, thumb impression, and prescribed documents.

  • Application fee payment- The final step in the process of filling out the NEET-MDS 2024 application form is to pay the application fee online. The fee for NEET-MDS 2024 cannot be paid using any method other than the payment gateway provided within the online application form. The sole method of submitting the application for NEET-MDS 2024 is through the online portals provided by NBEMS, which are accessible at https://nbe.edu.in and https://natboard.edu.in. Any other means of application submission will not be accepted and will be promptly rejected.

Note- The application form can be submitted only once. Suppose a candidate is found to have submitted multiple application forms for NEET-MDS 2024. In that case, they may face consequences such as being barred from the exam, cancellation of their candidacy, and additional actions as determined suitable by NBEMS (National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences).

 

  • Acknowledgement of application submission- Once the application is submitted successfully, a confirmation email will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID, confirming the completion of the application process. However, it should be noted that the application will be considered complete only after the examination fee has been successfully paid. To check the payment status, the candidate can refer to the application form PDF, where 'S' indicates a successful payment and 'F' indicates a failed payment.
