MH CET Law 2023: Application Procedure, Dates, Eligibility, Syllabus, Cut-offs, Admit Card
The competent authority specifies the eligibility standards for various types of candidature. They are as follows:
Maharashtra State Candidature:
Under Maharashtra State Candidature there are various types of categories

A candidate’s father or mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra |
Type C |
A candidate’s father/ mother is an employee of the GOI or GOI Undertaking and is posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submitting the Application Form for CAP |
Type D |
A candidate’s father or mother is an employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking |
Type E |
A candidates passing SSC and or HSC Examination or Equivalent Examination from a recognized institution from a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose Mother tongue is Marathi |
Candidates with Indian nationality are eligible to apply for the MH CET Law under this category.
Candidates residing in Maharashtra who are members of a specific linguistic or religious minority community within the State and who have been officially recognised by the government are considered eligible.
Children of J&K citizens who have been uprooted by terrorist activity from J&K to any part of India or from the dangerous border region of J&K to a relatively safer location in J&K since 1990; or Children of officers from the Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS), Indian Foreign Services (IFS), and Children of Staff from Military and Paramilitary Forces who were transferred to J&K to fight terrorism and joined the post on or after.
The MH CET Law eligibility criteria for the five-year LLB programme are:
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
They should have passed the Senior Secondary School Examination, the Intermediate Examination, or the Twelve-Year Board Examination from any accredited educational institution recognised by the state board or the federal government as an educational authority.
A candidate must have obtained 45% overall in the qualifying exam.
For a candidate belonging to the SC/ ST category of the Maharashtra state, they need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.
Candidates must be at least 20 years old at the time of admission following the age restriction requirements. The minimum age requirement for applicants in the Maharashtra state's OBC, SC, and ST categories is 22 years old at the time of admission.
The MH CET Law eligibility criteria for the three-year LLB programmes are:
The candidates must have passed their respective graduation exams.
Candidates who are taking qualifying exams during the exam year are also eligible to apply.
