Usually, the authorities conduct KCET over two days and divided it into four different sessions for four subjects. On the first day, there will be two sessions for Biology and Mathematics, and on the following day, there will be two sessions for Physics and Chemistry, as indicated by the notified date and time.
Each subject's paper will be worth 60 marks and have a duration of 80 minutes. The question papers will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (Objective) with different versions for each subject. Each question will offer four options, and each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
It is expected that candidates attempt all the questions to maximize their score, as there is no choice of questions. Wrong or incorrect answers will not result in a negative evaluation, but no marks will be given for multiple answers to the same question. The version code of the question paper will be clearly printed on the first page.
In addition to understanding the exam pattern, it is essential to focus on the KCET 2024 syllabus for effective preparation.
