CUET UG 2024 Application Procedure

 

The application to the Common University Entrance Test requires the candidate to fill up the online application form through the official website of the examination. The applications are available in both Hindi and English. But before applying for the examination a candidate must note the following three things:

  1. Candidates may only submit applications to the three participating central universities. Candidates who apply to more than three universities must pay the application fee again.

  2. A candidate's application form will not be accepted by exam officials until the CUET test fee is successfully paid.

  3. On successful CUET online application form submission and fee payment, an email and SMS will be sent to the candidate's registered email ID and phone number.

The first step for the online application required the candidates to register. Online registration requires the candidates to follow certain steps:

  • The first step is to register for the CUET 2024 by visiting the exam's official website.

  • After that, they must click on the 'New Registration' tab and carefully read the instructions before proceeding.

  • They then had to fill out a registration form with their personal information, contact information, and address, as well as select a password and security question.

  • Their registration process will be completed once they enter the security pin. Candidates will receive their username and password via email and SMS.

After completion of the registration process, the candidates are directed directly to the application page. On this page, the candidates need to enter the following:

  • Candidates must enter information such as their name, email address, phone number, and date of birth in this section. At this point, candidates must also select a password for themselves. Following that, candidates must click the "Save & Proceed" button, after which additional sections will appear on the screen. 

  • Candidates must enter their qualifying exam information in this section, including the name of the board/college, passing year, marks obtained, and percentage scored.

  •  Candidates must enter their address here, which will be used for any exam-related communication.

  • Following that, candidates must select four examination city options in the order in which they prefer to take the exam.

  • Candidates will have to click on the checkbox in the declaration box and click, "Save & Proceed". They will be taken to the next step in the application process.

  • At this point, candidates must upload their scanned photograph and signature per the specifications. The documents to be uploaded are listed in the table below.

  • After completion of uploading the relevant documents, the candidate needs to select any three universities to which they wish to secure admission.

  • Following that, candidates must choose any three courses from each university to which they wish to apply. Candidates had to click the "Save & Proceed" button once they had been chosen.

  • When you click the button, a preview of the application form will appear on your screen. Candidates will be able to edit the form at this point by clicking on the "Edit Application" button if they want to change any of the information provided in the application. Alternatively, candidates can use the "Submit & Make Payment" button on the page.

  • Candidates must pay the CUET 2024 application fee online (net banking/ credit card/ debit card/ UPI/ Wallet). It should be noted that candidates' application fee status (paid/unpaid) will appear on the form.

  • When completing the CUET application form, candidates must select four exam cities in order of preference in which they wish to take the test. Candidates must choose their CUET exam cities carefully. Candidates had to choose cities that were close to their hometowns or where they could easily make accommodations. It may be noted that the change of test centre city will not be permitted once the centre is allotted.

  • After completion of the application, the candidates are advised to download a copy of the application form along with a copy of the payment receipt for future reference. 

 

Candidates who want to make certain changes in the application form may follow the following steps:

  • Visit the official website of CUET 2024 – www.cuet.samarth.ac.in  

  • Click on the ‘Sign In’ tab on the top right side of the page.

  • Enter your application number, password and security pin.

  • Click on the tab indicating application correction.

  • Enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number and email address.

  • Make the necessary changes.

  • Verify the details before the final submission.
