CUET UG 2023 Outcomes

After the results are announced, the participating institutions will hold separate CUET UG 2023 counselling sessions. The CUET 2023 counselling will take place between July and August, according to the tentative dates. Following the announcement of the CUET 2023 results, the institutes will release merit lists of candidates who qualified for the exam and met the institute's or university's eligibility and cutoff criteria. Along with releasing the scorecard, the NTA will send candidates' scores to the universities they have chosen. The CUET counselling or admission process will be conducted individually by the participating institutes, and candidates who apply to the institutes and courses will be required to participate in the admission process.

During a counselling session, candidates will be assigned seats in their respective classes and universities/institutions. Counselling for the CUET will take place at each university/institute separately. All qualified candidates wishing to be admitted to any participating universities must complete the admission form available on the university's official website. Until last year, the exam was known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). Following that, on the day of CUET (CUCET) counselling, candidates must bring the admission form to the respective university/institute.

Documents required during counselling:

  • Class 10 mark sheet

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  • Bachelor's degree mark sheet and pass certificate (for PG candidates)

  • CUET 2023 scorecard

  • CUET 2023 admit card

  • Category certificate (if applicable)

The CUET counselling consists of the following steps:

  • Each participating institute will publish its rank list of candidates who qualify to take part in the CUET 2023 counselling process.

  • Candidates must register online, show up for online counselling, and then attend offline counselling.

  • Following seat allotment, candidates must pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.

The participating institutes will make an announcement regarding CUET Spot Counseling based on the number of open seats. Those who did not receive a seat in the original counselling rounds can participate in the spot counselling by registering on the official websites of the CUET participating institutes. Such candidates must participate in the CUET spot counselling rounds by visiting the institutes and having their documents verified by admission officials at the institutes.
