BITSAT 2024 Application Form

 

Before filling out the application form for Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) 2024 a candidate must carefully read out the following instructions:

  • After completing the form online, a candidate can print a copy of the completed form. They are free to keep it for future reference.

  • A candidate may take BITSAT 2024 a maximum of two times. The BITSAT exam will be divided into two sessions: BITSAT Session-1 (21 May to 26 May 2024) and BITSAT Session-2 (22 June to 26 June 2024).

  • A candidate may select either Session-1 or Session-2, or both. A candidate may choose to appear twice, even during the initial application process. If a candidate appears twice in BITSAT-2024 and then seeks admission to any of BITS Pilani's First Degree programmes, the higher of the two scores will be considered for admission.

  • After the first appearance, a candidate may choose to appear a second time. Candidates who appeared in Session 1 but did not initially exercise their option to appear twice will be able to apply for Session 2 from May 22 to 26 June 2024.

  • A candidate who chooses to appear twice must pay Rs. 5400 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 4400 (for a female candidate) (for a female candidate). A candidate who chooses to appear only once (Session 1 or Session 2) will be charged Rs. 3400 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 2900 (for a female candidate) (for a female candidate). If a candidate chooses to appear in Session - only to apply separately to appear a second time (Session 2), he or she must pay an additional sum of Rs. 2000 (for a male candidate) and Rs. 1500 (for a female candidate) (for a female candidate). The application fee is neither refundable nor transferable.

  • If you select centres within India, the application fees for male and female candidates will be the same as stated above. If a candidate chooses Dubai as their only test location for Session 1, the application fee for both male and female candidates is INR 7000. If the candidate wishes to attend both sessions, the prescribed fee is INR 9000 for both male and female candidates.

  • The revision or edit window will be open from 16 to 19 April 2024. If one discovers an error in their completed application form, they can correct it in the edit window. However, a candidate will not be able to change or edit their registered E-mail ID or Mobile Number at that time; therefore, one must be cautious when entering these details. BITS Pilani will use these details for communication purposes throughout the admissions process.

  • When completing the online application form, you will be asked to specify your preferred testing centre for the BITSAT-2024 exam. You can choose from centres in India, Dubai, or Kathmandu. If you choose centres in India or Kathmandu, you will be asked to select three options and will be assigned one of them. If a candidate selects Dubai as a centre, he or she will not be asked for any other centre preferences and will be assigned only to the Dubai centre.

  • The system will generate a unique application number before printing the completed application form. Take note of this number, as it will be needed in all future correspondence. Assume you are filling out your online application and do not have a printer connected to your computer. In that case, you can finish the application process and print the form later by entering the Application Number, Password, and Email-Id.

  • Do not use the "Back" button on your browser's toolbar when applying online. To navigate from one page to another, use the links and buttons provided on the page. Furthermore, once you have finished applying, close all open browser windows so that others cannot copy your personal information.

  • A candidate may only fill out and submit one online application form. A candidate's multiple applications are likely to be rejected.

  • Prepare scanned images of the Photograph and Signature in jpg/jpeg format only before beginning your online application. The photo image must be between 50 and 100 KB in size. The signature image must be between 10 and 50 KB in size.

  • Only through the official BITS admission website can a candidate apply for the BITSAT-2024 exam online (www.bitsadmission.com).

  • A valid email address and mobile phone number are required for online application registration. The Email-ID and Mobile Number should be kept active until the admission results are announced. BITS will send all important information related to your application for writing the test, followed by the admission procedure, to the email/mobile number you have registered with.

  • Candidates who have completed the application form are advised to pay as promptly as possible.

The application fees for the BITSAT are non-refundable and non-transferable. The fees can be paid through Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking/ UPI.

Steps for Application for BITSAT 2024:

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the BITSAT 2024 official website http://www.bitsadmission.com and click on the BITSAT Registration link.

  • A new window will appear with a set of instructions. Read all of the instructions carefully before clicking OK.

  • You will be redirected to a new window. Click on the "New Registration" link.

  • The application form will now open, and you can enter your personal information such as Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Nationality.

  • Enter a valid mobile phone number and email address.

  • Enter the captcha code and press the 'Proceed' button.

Step 2: Filling out the BITSAT application form Candidates must fill out the BITSAT 2024 Application Form, which will be displayed on the screen, and enter personal and academic information, as well as specifying their preferred programme, qualifying examination marks, and so on.

  • In Personal Details, the candidate must enter their father's name, mother's name, communication address, nationality, and so on.

  • In Qualification Details, the candidate must enter information for the Class 12th qualifying exam, such as the name of the school, the name of the Board of Examination, the year of passing, the marks, and so on.

  • Candidates will also have the option of selecting any three BITSAT exam centres of their choice from the drop-down menu.

  • Following completion of the "Personal Details" section, applicants must click on the "Confirm and Submit Details" tab. To correct any errors in the form, click the 'Edit above details' tab.

Step 3: Required documents uploading

  • Candidates must submit scanned images of their signature and photograph.

  • Candidates can upload the two documents by selecting "Choose File" from the menu.

  • Select the signature and photograph images, then click the "Next" button. A preview of the images will appear. Now, click the "Upload" button to begin uploading images.

Step 4: Payment of Application fees

The final step in completing the BITSAT 2024 Application Form is to pay the application fee. Students should be aware that the BITSAT application fee is never refundable or transferable. Candidates can pay the application fee online by following the steps outlined below:

  • Payment methods accepted by the PayUMoney Gateway include credit card/debit card, net banking, and UPI.

  • Payment methods supported by the Pay TM Gateway include credit card/debit card, net banking, and UPI.

Step 5: Submission of the Online Application Form

  • Candidates should carefully review their applications before clicking the submit button.

  • If necessary, modify the details.

  • Confirmation will be sent to your registered email address and mobile number.

  • Candidates must print the application form for future reference.
