Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test (BITSAT) is a computer-based entrance exam for undergraduate engineering and other programmes at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS). A candidate who appears in the first or both sessions of BITSAT-2023 is only eligible for admission if he or she achieves the required minimum marks in the 12th examination in physics, chemistry, and mathematics, as described previously. All candidates who appeared in the first, second, or both sessions of BITSAT-2023 and are interested in admission must submit an Admission Application Form with their 12th-grade point average and preferences for various degree programmes offered at the Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad campuses.

BITSAT 2023 Application Procedure

 

The application procedure for the BITSAT 2023 is as follows:

Step 1: Click on the official website of BITSAT and register for the BITSAT 2023

Step 2: Complete the Details in the BITSAT Application Form 2023.

Step 3: Upload scanned Photograph and Signature in JPEG or JPG format

Step 4: Complete payment of the application fees through a Debit Card/ Credit   Card, Net banking or UPI

Step 5: Final Submission of form   

 

BITSAT 2023 Eligibility

 

A candidate appearing for the BITSAT 2023 must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Candidates for admission to the B. Pharm. programme should have completed the 12th grade under the 10+2 system from a recognised Central or State board, or its equivalent, with a passing grade in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as well as appropriate English language competence. Candidates with PCM are still welcome to apply for the Pharmacy programme, nonetheless.

  2. Candidates must have completed the 12th grade under the 10+2 system from an accredited Central or State board, or its equivalent, to be admitted to all of the aforementioned programmes except for B.Pharm.

If there is still time after answering all 130 questions (without skipping a single one), the candidate may attempt 12 (twelve) additional questions. Only three questions from each of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, and Logical Reasoning will be included in the supplementary questions. Additionally, if the candidate selects the extra questions, there is no turning back to fix any of the 130 questions that were previously answered. 

 

BITSAT 2023 Results

 

For viewing and downloading the BITSAT 2023 results the candidates need to follow the steps below:

  • Check out bitsadmission.com

  • Select the link for the BITSAT 2023 scorecard.

  • Candidates will need to enter their password and application number.

  • Press the "Proceed" button.

  • Check the BITSAT 2023 result.

  • Download and print the BITSAT 2023 scorecard.

The results of BITSAT carry the following guidelines: 

  • The names of the applicants who achieved the BITSAT 2023 cut-off are listed in the BITSAT 2023 Admit List. 

  • The BITSAT counselling for 2023 admissions will be open to candidates whose names appear on the BITSAT admit list.

  • The names of candidates who will be contacted for admission if a seat becomes available are listed on the BITSAT 2023 Wait List.

Admission into the programs offered by the various BITS campuses is solely determined by merit and the results of the BITSAT entrance exam. Here, candidates must also make sure they meet all eligibility requirements related to the minimum marks needed to pass the Class XII Board examination or an exam of equal or greater difficulty. If two or more candidates receive the same BITSAT score, a tie-breaker will be conducted using a certain set of guidelines.  

 

BITSAT 2023 Outcomes

 

After qualifying in the BITSAT the students are eligible to seek admission at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science campuses according to their preferred subject discipline.
