AIIMS Exam Tie-Breaking 2023 Criteria
In cases of ties for B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/B.Sc.(Paramedical) courses, if multiple candidates from the same category have obtained equal marks in the entrance examination, their merit will be determined in the following order of preference:

a) Candidates with higher marks in Biology (or Mathematics for Para-Medical courses) in the entrance examination.

b) Candidates with higher marks in Chemistry in the entrance examination.

c) Candidates with higher marks in Physics in the entrance examination.

d) Older candidates will be given preference.
For the B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Basic) program, if two or more candidates achieve the same total marks in both stages of the selection process, their ranking will be determined based on the following criteria, in order of preference:

a) Candidates with higher marks in the Written Test (Stage-I) will be given preference.

b) If the marks in the Written Test are also the same, the older candidate will be preferred.
In cases of ties for M.Sc. Nursing/M.Sc./M. Biotechnology Courses, if candidates have equal marks, the following criteria will be used to determine merit:
