The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

The age requirement is a minimum of 17 years as of December 31, 2023. (Candidates born on or after January 2, 2007, are not eligible.)

The candidate should have passed the 12th class under the 10+2 scheme/Senior School Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized University/Board of any Indian State with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

For specific courses like Bachelor of Optometry, Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, B.Sc. in Dental Operating Room Assistant, B.Sc. in Dental Hygiene, and B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, the candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology or Mathematics

The minimum aggregate marks required in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) are as follows:

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing: 55% for Gen in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

For AIIMS New Delhi: 50% for Gen in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry, and either Biology OR Mathematics

Candidates should have passed 12th class, hold a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, and be registered as a nurse, RN, RM (registered nurse, registered midwife) with any State Nursing council.

Male nurses should have obtained a certificate in General Nursing and have completed training in a specific subject for a period of six months.

Postgraduate Courses
|
M.Sc./M. Biotechnology
|

Candidates must have one of the following qualifications and have secured at least 60% marks for General in the qualifying examination:

(a) MBBS/BDS (55% for Gen)

(b) B.V. Sc.

(c) B. Pharmacy
-
(d) Bachelor of Physiotherapy (4½ year course)

(e) B.Sc. degree of minimum three years' duration in any subject.
(Note: Candidates with degrees other than those mentioned above are not eligible)

M.Sc. Nursing
|

B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic / B.Sc. Nursing (4 years) course from any recognized University, from an educational institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, with 60% marks for Gen candidates.

Registration as Nurse, RN, RM (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council.

All M.Sc. Nursing candidates must submit a certificate of Registration as a Nurse and Midwife from the Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council at the time of Seat Allocation/joining if they are selected.
