Visva Bharati University, Santiniketan seeks to inculcate diversity and academia. The Central Library on the campus has over eight lakhs sixty-three thousand and eight hundred books, and one hundred and fifty-five print journals. There are twelve sectional libraries and thirty seminar libraries. The libraries have books covering a wide range of subjects. The digital library on the campus has nearly one lakh twenty-two thousand five hundred and forty E-books, twenty-nine thousand eight hundred and ninety-one digitized books, one thousand and forty-eight theses uploaded to Sodhganga, seven thousand and thirty-six online journals and seventy newspapers and magazines.
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. VBU Santiniketan provides accommodation facilities for students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. There are ten hostels for girls and fourteen hostels for boys. The rooms are furnished and have basic amenities for all the students.
VBU Santiniketan focuses on sporting activities and has made provisions for football, cricket and basketball. There are gym facilities on campus. Recreational facilities are also available.
The computer lab is fully equipped and is open to all students.
There are two canteens that serve healthy and nutritious food to all. The meals are served at affordable prices.
VBU Santiniketan has a medical team dedicated to cater medical emergencies. In severe medical cases, the students are taken to Pearson Medical Hospital.
The campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The classrooms have smartboards, projectors, microphones and speakers. The spacious auditorium is fully equipped with the latest technology.
VBU Santiniketan also provides bus services to the students.
