The University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun campus has a variety of modern infrastructure and facilities for the convenience of the students and to enhance their social and academic experiences. The campus library, which is centrally air-conditioned, houses a large collection of printed and digital materials, including 2,08,425 print books, 50 print journals, 325 theses, 4500 dissertations, 2,49,428 e-books, 19,148 e-journals, 31,237 e-proceedings, 4093 e-standards and 65 e-databases. 

Over 2000 students can be accommodated in the on-campus hostels. To promote the students' overall development, a variety of indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available including football, cricket, hockey, handball, basketball, volleyball and a running/jogging track. Students can gain a practical understanding of the disciplines by using fully equipped laboratories such as Chemistry labs, Design labs, Computer labs, Domain-specific labs and Prototyping/3D modelling labs. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and has traditional e-classrooms. A clean and well-maintained cafeteria offers students a variety of cuisines at reasonable prices. Seminar halls can be used for a variety of cultural and formal events. UPES Dehradun offers an infirmary, ambulance services, and medical insurance (by Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd). Additionally, paid transportation facilities are also available.
