The library of University of Engineering and Management, Kolkata has over twenty-seven thousand books with a student-to-book ratio of 1:1 on all books. The library is open to all students throughout the year. There are thousands of e-books which are available through the University Library's National Digital Library subscription, which is handled using the KOHA and IEMCRP software. Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) such as NPTEL, SWAYAM, SWAYAM PRABHA, e-PG Pathshala, and CEC are available. There are reading rooms in the college that helps the students to make the most out of the library.
There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The living accommodation for the students is designed with comfort and their rooms are fully furnished with all the necessary equipment. Students are required to fill up forms online for availing of the UEM Kolkata hostels.
