Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Patiala campus provides a range of modern infrastructure and facilities for its students' convenience. TIET Patiala campus has separate libraries housing over one lakh books including reference books, course materials, text books, books on various subjects related to Engineering, Management, Humanities, Social Sciences and Fiction, theses, standards, and bound volumes of journals. TIET Patiala libraries which have internet access provide over ten thousand e-journals, over forty thousand e-books, 3610 e-standards, 5500+ ASTM Standards, 20862 e-proceedings, and 3500+ CDs/DVDs.
Male and female students are accommodated in separate fully furnished hostels.
To promote students' overall development, a variety of indoor and outdoor games are available, such as football, tennis, cricket, handball, basketball, lawn tennis, volleyball, athletics, swimming pool, yoga room, and a gym.
Lab facilities are also available to enhance practical knowledge. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus, and some classrooms are air-conditioned.
Healthy food items are served to students at reasonable prices in well-maintained cafeterias.
For a variety of cultural and formal functions, a seminar hall and a large air-conditioned auditorium are there.
TIET Patiala also provides transportation for students. For any kind of medical emergency, a fully functional health Centre with a full-time doctor with nursing assistants is in place to offer medical care for minor issues and first aid. Even ambulance service is available.
