For students, the Swami Vivekananda Institute of Science and Technology, Kolkata has a digital library with a book bank. Students can borrow and reference the most recent national and international publications as well as reference books. There is a reading room with a seating capacity of one hundred and twenty students. The Library has access to international, national, and electronic journals. The institution has some sporting facilities as well keeping in mind the health and fitness of students.
The campus has several labs which are fully furnished. Every one of the labs is outfitted with cutting-edge technology. The labs are set up so that students can use the complete facility with the help of a lab specialist to get more technical experience and use it for research programs and initiatives. The labs are set up such that students can use the full space while being supervised by a lab specialist to obtain more practical knowledge and use it for projects and research.
The canteen aims to serve healthy and nutritious food to all. Students are provided with subsidized meals. The canteen in the college is spacious with a wide range of food menu which is available to students.
The medical team in the SVIST caters to students and faculty members alike. The team is composed of professional medical personnel who are always there to help students. There is high-speed internet on the campus. SVIST boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including air-conditioned, large classrooms, laboratories with modern equipment, computer labs, and libraries.
SVIST features twenty large, air-conditioned classrooms that can accommodate sixty students each. The rooms are spacious, bright, and well-furnished. For participatory learning, classrooms are furnished with LCD projectors and microphones.The seminar halls on the campus seat approximately four hundred people and are fully equipped.
