St. Xavier's College, Ranchi has a total size of 12.807 acres. The main building, the B.Ed. and Humanities Building, the Gym and Research Building, and the Vocational and Management Building are among the main buildings. The campus has three separate blocks for boys' hostels. Central Library is one of Ranchi's oldest college libraries. It came into operation in 1947. The library now has 105 national and international journals and 1,66,669 books. In addition to the online databases offered by N-List, the library also has access to well-known publishers' e-journal and e-book databases, such Sage. The Central Library's web OPAC is technically sound. There are departmental libraries run by the relevant departments in addition to the Central Library, and a separate PG library with 5,750 books are available only to postgraduate students. Additionally, the Central Library provides reference, reading room, and photocopy services. A Central Research Laboratory (CRL) was established by SXC Ranchi in 2010 to help teachers and students conduct outstanding interdisciplinary research that is relevant to industry. Students and researchers in the fields of physics, chemistry, zoology, botany, and geology can conduct basic, applied, and medical research at CRL with the use of the facilities and equipment available to them.
SXC Ranchi campus has 79 classrooms of varying sizes. The rooms are large and ideal for teaching. They have wide verandahs all around them so they can walk around and breathe easily. Wi-Fi is available in the classrooms, and many of them have projectors. To arrange meetings and small seminars, conference rooms and other spaces are also available. The campus also has a central auditorium, blacksmith and carpentry sections, a Xerox center, dining facilities, a volleyball court, a basketball court, and areas for indoor games.
