Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore campus is a perfect fusion of heritage and modernity, situated in serene surroundings away from the noise and bustle of the city. The campus is 49 acres in size, with a built-up area of 1.5 lakh square feet. SREC Coimbatore is distinguished by its well-designed classrooms, fast Wi-Fi, stocked library, and above-average under-const.html, to name just a few amenities. The campus has Wi-Fi that encourages self-learning At SREC Coimbatore campus, the departments are separated into different buildings to ensure the right atmosphere for both the lecture halls and the laboratories. There are 99 classrooms, and 9 classrooms have smart boards. The lecture rooms are larger than the AICTE-mandated minimum size requirement of 66 square meters, with an average of 100 square meters. There are 22 halls with a combined seating capacity of 40 that are used just for instructional sessions.
The 2349 square meters of the library contains 38915 titles, 85900 volumes, 114 international journals number, 169 national journals number, and 19. magazines. The Digital Library has a total size of 92.43 sqm and is equipped with 30 PCs, one resource sharing, NPTEL Server, and a Canon inkjet printer. The digital library with 3851 book CDs, 227 student project CDs, and 45 question paper CDs is maintained in a separate rack. All pupils have access to a copying facility. Each department has a departmental library that is kept up to date and has a sufficient number of textbooks, reference books, and online resources for magazines and e-books.
SREC Coimbatore boasts one of the best sporting grounds in Coimbatore. The sports facility includes four badminton courts, a concrete basketball court, a football field, a handball court, four volleyball courts, and a 400-meter track. Table tennis, carrom, and chess facilities are available in a separate indoor hall within the campus.
SREC Coimbatore offers a variety of multi-gym facilities for weightlifting and powerlifting. These facilities are provided to men and women separately at SREC Coimbatore. The other infrastructure consists of seminar halls, an auditorium, a fleet of 30 buses, 24/7 ambulance service and health center, ATM, Book Depot, multicuisine food court, etc. There are 2300 spaces available in fully functional separate housing(hostel) for male and female students.
