Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore (SREC Coimbatore), built in 1994 by SNR Sons Charitable Trust, is one of 17 colleges managed by the trust. The goal of SREC Coimbatore is to become a top-tier technological university with a coexisting center for engineering solutions development for clients around the globe. It will do this by developing Schools of Excellence in a variety of subjects. SREC Coimbatore is an autonomous institution that has received AICTE approval and is permanently affiliated with Anna University, Chennai.
SREC Coimbatore offers B.E, B.Tech, M.E, M.Tech, and MBA degrees. SREC Coimbatore follows the online admission procedure and the application form can be obtained from the college's website. SREC Coimbatore has a dedicated and trained faculty. The mission of the faculty is to give students all the solutions they need to become knowledgeable scientists and engineers. SREC Coimbatore is a perfect fusion of heritage and modernity, situated in serene surroundings away from the noise and bustle of the city. The campus covers 49 acres and has a built-up area of 1.5 lakh square feet. The environment that SREC Coimbatore has been modeled after enlightens young minds and offers an excellent learning experience. SREC Coimbatore has the necessary physical infrastructure and resources for an efficient teaching and learning process. The departments are separated into different buildings to ensure the right atmosphere for both the lecture halls and the laboratories. A maximum of 72 people can be seated in the well-ventilated lecture halls, which are furnished with a chalkboard, ceiling-mounted LCD projectors, and screens for projecting video content as well as PowerPoint slides. SREC Coimbatore boasts one of the best sporting grounds in Coimbatore. The hostel students can also take advantage of the indoor amenities. These amenities include chess, carom, and table tennis. There is a well-established gym with a 155 sq. m. space that is open early in the morning and late at night.

Admission Procedure

Undergraduate admission at SREC Coimbatore is based in accordance with the rules established by the Tamil Nadu government and the guidelines established by Anna University, Chennai. PG admission is done as per Anna University norms, and with a valid Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) or Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) score. Anna University Chennai also offers Single Window Counseling.
