The Sivanath Sastri College, Kolkata has all the necessary infrastructural facilities for the students to have their full academic growth.
There is a library that includes an excellent collection of materials on all the subjects as well as related topics. The library is divided into five sections: 1) The central library 2) Honours library 3) Staff-room library 4) Departmental library of the Department of Geography, 5) Departmental library of the Department of Botany. The Central library allows all types of users to borrow books, whereas the Honours Seminar library is only open to Honours students and lecturers. The staff-room library serves as a resource for teachers in the classroom, while departmental libraries serve the teachers and students of the relevant departments. There are Departmental based laboratories for the students of different subjects.
An in-house cafeteria is available at the SSC Kolkata campus that caters to the needs of the students. During college hours, it provides high-quality cuisine to students and staff. Cleanliness and the use of high-quality cooking items are given special attention here. A water filter, as well as a chiller and a refrigerator, are installed in the canteen. The Canteen Committee inspects the canteen's food quality and cleanliness on a regular basis.
SSC Kolkata provides some basic medical services and sports facilities. A qualified general medical practitioner comes to the college once a week and provides free medical consultations. A bed and other first-aid supplies are also offered in the medical room.
All the classrooms are well furnished and regularly maintained for better experience of lectures. Also, there is an auditorium for various gatherings and conferences.
