Sivanath Sastri College (SSC Kolkata) is one of the most premier girls colleges based in Kolkata, West Bengal. The establishing stone was laid back in 1961. Known for providing quality education to girls over the years, SSC Kolkata is affiliated to Calcutta University and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). At present the SSC Kolkata offers undergraduate courses in: Bengali, Education, English, History, Political Science, Economics, Geography, Arts, Science and Commerce. Different departmental libraries here also allow students to research on a minute basis. Fully furnished and modern classrooms of the campus permit the students to concentrate and learn better. Admission Procedure
Admission to the Sivanath Sastri College, Kolkta is done through an online application and on the basis of the merit. To apply for their undergraduate degrees like B.A(Hons), B.Sc(Hons), B.Com(Hons), and B.A, candidates must meet all the required eligibility requirements of the course in which the candidate is applying for. The candidate has to go through the online admission portal on the website where they have to upload the scanned copies of required documents and they have to submit the application form for the course in which the candidate is applying for. But, apart from that, all students need to pass their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. SSC Kolkata is a girls college, therefore only females can apply for the courses in this college.
