SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad has a robust infrastructure that offers students access to a library on the top floor of the campus. This library has cutting-edge amenities like 4 MBPS wifi connectivity and it has a wide variety of books, magazines, periodicals, and scientific journals. It also has a special collection for faculty members that includes course/modules reader's and the Craniofacial Growth Series. Additionally, the library offers reprography, audiovisual materials, electronic journals with access to HELINET and EBSCO ORALSCIENCE DATABASE, document delivery services with DELNET, CAS, and SDI services, an institutional digital repository, and a plagiarism detector.
The campus has three hostels, one for boys and two for girls. The Kumar Hostel for Boys has 94 three-seater rooms with associated bathrooms and access to hot water. The Kanya Hostel has 94 three-seater rooms with an attached bathroom and hot water supply. Single and double rooms with an attached bathroom and hot water supply are available at the Shraddha Hostel. The hostels are equipped with telephone lines, TVs, and reading areas for guests' enjoyment.
The SDMCDS's sports complex has facilities for outdoor games such as an athletic field with a 200-meter track, a football field, a cricket ground, a volleyball court, a kabaddi court, a tennicoit court, a throw ball court, a basketball court, and a swimming pool, as well as indoor games such as shuttle badminton, table tennis, pool, carom, and chess to make the students maintain a healthy and active physique and mind along with a gym to work out for maintaining a healthy and fit lifestyles of the students.
The students are provided with well-equipped and well-maintained classrooms and labs to enhance the teaching-learning process more effeciently and effectively.
Other amenities include a dining hall (mess) on the hostel campus that serves healthy and hygienic meals to students, as well as a Fast Food joint, a fruit juice centre, a Nescafe Coffee Corner, and a tea and coffee stall Kiosk, as well as a health care facility for individuals both inside and outside the campus and the unit is equipped with all necessities.
