SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad (SDMCDSH Dharwad) that laid its foundation stone in 1986 is presently a unit of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara University.
The well experienced professionals of the SDMCDSH Dharwad make sure that the students follow the correct pathway to reach their future goals. At present a four year undergraduate Dental Surgery course is offered by the college. The SDMCDSH Dharwad conducts admission through its website. The students willing to take admission are required to pass higher education for applying in BDS with at least a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. NEET eligibility marks of the candidates are also checked before granting final admission. Internships are provided to students right after the completion of their BDS to enable them to become more familiar with the industry practices.

Admission Procedure
SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad conducts an admission procedure through the official website where the candidates are required to pass in higher education for applying in BDS with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks with a subject combination of English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology from any recognized board and will have to score eligible marks on National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET). The final admission details will be provided to the students after their course selection and registration comprising every required document uploaded properly by the applying candidates.
SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital also provide a postgraduate degree in Master of Dental Surgery ( MDS) with various specialization. Interested candidates can apply through their official website. For an MDS degree, candidates must qualify for the National Eligibility Entrance Test ( NEET) entrance examination.
