School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada is situated on 9.66 acres in the heart of Vijayawada city, along the ITI road. The academic and administrative block is a cutting-edge structure that combines local components with sustainable architecture. Its shape and construction are regarded as iconic in Vijayawada.
The library of SPA Vijayawada is one of the creative and technically sophisticated libraries in the southern region that supports teaching, learning, research, and consulting activities in the fields of planning and architecture all around the nation. Wi-Fi and broadband internet connectivity are also available in the library. The library has more than 6900 print books, including text and reference books, 2300 open-access ebooks, 82 print journals, 4000 online resources, and 80 CD-ROMs.
The campus features sophisticated laboratories, large studios and classrooms, open-air theatres, an auditorium, a cafeteria, and outdoor sports facilities. It also has ICT-enabled hostels, guest houses, and dining facilities, as well as a teaching environment. There are several different labs, including ones for computers, geoinformatics, art, material testing, surveying, carpentry, terrain modeling, climatology, environmental monitoring, and structural testing.
A full-fledged art studio has been constructed to display the pupils' own artistic creations. At any given moment, the campus' LAN can support up to 800 people. Wi-Fi is available in every common space, and NKN-NMEICT offers 1-GBPS Internet service. Additionally, SPA Vijayawada features 2.66 acres of green space that are being developed into an outdoor sports complex. The sports facilities include badminton, basketball, football, kabbadi, athletic track, etc.
SPA Vijayawada features a healthcare center where students can receive first aid treatment and nursing care. Excellent infrastructure amenities are available for students staying in the hostels on the SPA Vijayawada campus. It has three separate hostel buildings (South, North, and West Blocks), one each for girls and boys, with a combined built-up area of around 20,200 square meters and room for more than 777 students to live peacefully.
