Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology Surat offers a wide range of cutting-edge infrastructure, including a central library with digital and online features such databases, e-books, research assistance tools, and other publications for technical and non-technical audiences that students can access to learn and acquire information in an improved manner.
SVNIT Surat provides a residential complex includes 7 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. Every hostel has the fundamental amenities, including furniture, Wi-Fi/LAN internet access, a mess area, and recreational spaces with fully functional sports facilities, music rooms, magazine rooms, and television rooms in addition to a common area for any meetings or gatherings at the hostel level.
The students are provided with a sports complex with outdoor game facilities like Football,Cricket, Basketball with 2 courts, Lawn Tennis with 2 International standard courts having class-3 lights and modern seating arrangements, 400 metre Athletic track, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Handball, as well as indoor games like Table-Tennis, Badminton with 2 air-conditioned International standard synthetic courts, Chess, Carrom along with an Indoor Gymnasium.
To make the teaching-learning process more effective and to help students gain useful knowledge, extra facilities, such as labs and classrooms, are made available to them.
Additionally, the SVNIT Surat's infrastructure consists medical facilities, including a Day Care Health Center, a Health Center with Visiting Medical Consultants, including a physician, gynaecologist, paediatrician, radiologist, and an Ayurveda and Homeopathy Specialist, as well as two pharmacists and supporting staff, to assist students with any health concerns and to handle any emergency needs.
Also, a cafeteria is made available to the students so they can enjoy good meals and restful breaks along with ATM facilities of the State Bank of India and Canara Bank are available in the campus.
