Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli (SAC Tirunelveli) named after the eminent Arabic scholar Sadakathullah Appa, is a Golden Jubilee institution located in Tamil Nadu. A higher education facility was required because of the sizable Muslim population in the Tirunelveli area. SAC Tirunelveli has founded in 1971 thanks to the committed and earnest efforts of the Muslim elite.
The motto of SAC Tirunelveli is "My Lord, Vouchsafe Me Wisdom." For 20 years, SAC Tirunelveli was initially affiliated with Madurai Kamaraj University. SAC Tirunelveli became affiliated with the Manonmaniam Sundaranar University upon its establishment in 1990. In 1997, SAC Tirunelveli switched to the coed. SAC Tirunelveli is managed by the SADAKATHULLAH APPA EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY. The UGC has given SAC Tirunelveli its approval. SAC Tirunelveli offers 24 Undergraduate programs, 16 Postgraduate programs, and 9 doctorate programs. SAC Tirunelveli has a completely trained and effective faculty. The goal of the faculty is to create holistic individuals by teaching them topics that are relevant to the world and instilling in them a love of learning, a desire to adopt best practices, a sense of institutional culture, and a sense of responsibility for the community. The campus of SAC Tirunelveli is enormous, covering 40.56 acres. 47 of the 56 classrooms at the college are equipped with LCD projectors and Five smart classrooms are available. SAC Tirunelveli also contains a Language Laboratory, an AV Hall, 5 Science Laboratories, and 4 well-equipped Computer Laboratories. Every Department has a computer and Wi-Fi access. SAC Tirunelveli is equipped with ramps, wheelchairs, and restrooms that are accessible to people with disabilities to ensure that all resources are available to students who have special needs. Additionally used for solemnizing academic activities are an air-conditioned auditorium, two seminar halls, a conference room, and a DC meeting room. The Library is housed in a 12,000-square-foot building and has access to e-resources as well as a remarkable collection of books, theses, and dissertations as well as national and international publications. Tennis, volleyball, and basketball courts, athletic tracks, hockey, and football fields, as well as a contemporary indoor stadium with the newest sporting equipment, are all available at SAC Tirunelveli.
SAC Tirunelveli has a placement cell that helps in career counseling. The goals of the cell include assisting as many students as possible in getting hired through campus and off-campus recruitments, inspiring students by hosting guest speakers from businesses and industry sectors, assisting students in getting placed in reputable companies, organizing on-campus off-campus interviews for final-year students, and more. Admission Procedure
Sadakathullah Appa College, Tirunelveli offers 24 Undergraduate programmes, 16 Postgraduate programmes, and 9 doctorate programmes. Application for admission at SAC Tirunelveli must be done using the official form, which is available on the college website. The completed application needs to be uploaded online. Selection will be based on merit and any additional admission requirements that apply to Minority Institutions. Before submitting the original certificates with their applications, applicants are instructed to bring copies of their general qualification and other certificates and have them attested by a competent Officer. After verification, all original certificates and mark statements will be properly returned to the accepted candidates.
