R.M.D Engineering College, Thiruvallur (RMDEC Thiruvallur) was established by the founder chairman Vidya Ratna Thiru. R. S. Munirathinam in 2000 under the Sri Swaminatha Naidu Educational Trust. RMDEC Thiruvallur is a Telugu-language minority educational institution that has received AICTE approval and is affiliated with Chennai's Anna University.
The goal of RMDEC Thiruvallur is to not only provide students with the best technical education possible but also to instill in them a sense of discipline that will help them grow into smart and competent engineers who will one day work at the top levels of engineering and technology and steer India toward a brighter future. RMDEC Thiruvallur offers B.E., B.Tech, M.E., and Ph.D. degrees. Admission to RMDEC Thiruvallur is done both online and offline, and the application form can be obtained on the RMDEC Thiruvallur's website or from the office.
RMDEC Thiruvallur has a dedicated and trained faculty. The mission of the faculty is to create an environment that will foster creativity, academic excellence, professionalism, a high standard of ethics, a sense of responsibility, and respect for individuals in order to develop the students into excellent professionals. RMDEC Thiruvallur is located in Kavaraipettai, some 35 kilometers from Chennai on the Chennai-Kolkata National Highways.
RMDEC Thiruvallur which is situated on 26.2 acres of lush greenery, has first-rate infrastructure facilities, including enough lecture halls, tutorial rooms, laboratories, seminar halls for different departments, a library, and sports facilities. Modern, air-conditioned library and information center are available on campus. RMDEC Thiruvallur is furnished with 60645 volumes of books spanning 14342 titles, providing resources of international standards in all fields of science, engineering, and technology. There is WiFi available on the campus. RMDEC Thiruvallur includes one contemporary lecture room with an LCD and multimedia features for each department. There are many sports facilities available for students, including a fantastic cricket field, a basketball court, a football field, two tennis courts, two shuttle courts, and two volleyball courts.
Since the creation of the Placement cell of RMDEC Thiruvallur, its members have been working on training and development initiatives to prepare students to satisfy hiring firms' expectations. This department coordinates campus interviews for the placement of final-year students with reputable organizations around the nation. The students of RMDEC Thiruvallur get placed in companies like Accenture, Amazon, Cisco, Cognizant, DELL, HCL, Hexaware, IBM, Infosys, ITC, Microsoft, TCS, INDIAN OIL TANKING LTD, etc.

Admission Procedure
R.M.D Engineering College, Thiruvallur offers B.E., B.Tech, M.E., and Ph.D. degrees. Admission applications should be submitted in the prescribed format, which is provided with the prospectus. Application forms should be filled out and delivered to the RMDEC Thiruvallur's principal's office along with the required non-refundable registration fee. For BE and B.Tech admission at RMDEC Thiruvallur, candidates must pass HSC(10+2) from any board. For ME admission, students must pass bachelor's degree and for PhD, postgraduation is needed.
