RU Cuttack's campus provides a variety of modern infrastructure and facilities for the student's convenience and to enhance their social and academic experiences. The campus Kanika Library, which is the oldest and largest library in Odisha, houses 1,60,000 study resources including books, journals, subject databases and online journals available through the E-Granthalaya. There is also a music library named after the famous Oriya singer and lyricist, Akshaya Mohanty. A Braille reading system with a sophisticated scanner and printer is also available for students who are visually impaired.
For the accommodation of approximately 3500 students, 13 fully furnished hostels (7 for male students and 6 for female students) are provided solely based on the Department-by-Department merit list for each program. A variety of indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available to promote students' overall development, including lawn tennis, cricket, basketball, badminton, chess, and three gyms. A well-maintained sports field and a multipurpose grass ground are available as well for various games and sports. Students can gain a practical understanding of the disciplines by using fully equipped and course-specific laboratories.
The entire campus of RU Cuttack is Wi-Fi enabled and has smart classrooms. A well-maintained cafeteria provides students with hygienic and delicious food at reasonable prices. For a variety of formal and cultural events, a spacious auditorium is available. The pharmacy is well-stocked and it offers emergency and first-aid medical care free of cost for immediate needs.
