Rani Birla Girls’ College (RBGC), Kolkata is a government girls’ undergraduate college affiliated with the University of Calcutta, Kolkata. RBGC, Kolkata is a University Grants Commission (UGC)-approved college. It was founded in July 1961 by the Hindustan Charity Trust and BM Birla family to serve as a girls’ college imparting well-rounded education in an enlightened and progressive environment.

RBGC, Kolkata is situated on a well-equipped campus with spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, state-of-the-art laboratories, sports facilities, a canteen, and a sick room with a registered medical practitioner. Courses offered by RBGC, Kolkata include BA Honours, BA General, BA Major, BSc Honours, and Bachelor Of Fashion And Apparel Design (B FTech).
