Ramakrishna Mission Residential College, Kolkata is situated on a beautiful green campus spanning an area of 181 acres. The old college structure is now supplemented by a fully equipped Annex Building with infrastructural improvements promoting the efficient operation of academia and administration. The Annex, named “Sarada Mandir”, is a magnificent eight-story building with cutting-edge research facilities.

RKMRC Kolkata houses well-equipped e-classrooms with ICT capabilities, stimulating the academic growth of students. There are also spacious seminar halls and state-of-art auditoriums on campus.

RKMRC Kolkata has a well-equipped RFID-enabled central library and 12 department libraries. The central library has a reading room for public use, long-term books, technical processing, and an electronic library. The library currently houses 53886 books, 95 periodicals, and six daily newspapers for both employees and students. The central library also has a yearly subscription to NLIST from INFLIBNET for access to eBooks and e-journals. The library has also added a fumigation chamber as an additional method for book preservation. The library is CCTC-surveilled and automated, running daily library operations using the Integrated Library Management Software (KOHA). There are two OPAC terminals near the circulation desk at the library. The second level houses the e-library reading area which has over 50 all-in-one PCs equipped with internet access. Three of these PCs are installed with screen reader software for the benefit of blind or visually impaired students.

RKMRC Kolkata is a residential college and houses hostels within campus premises. The four dormitories available at the college are Brahmananda Bhavana, Sri Gauranga Bhavana, Ramakrishnananda Bhavana, and Adbhutananda Bhavana. Each dormitory includes its eating area, shrine, study area, and common area where students may access a variety of indoor games, daily newspapers and periodicals, and television programs. The hostels are equipped with essential amenities and basic student needs such as a multi-gym, cobbler, barber, and laundry man. A superintendent, a warden, and a few supervisors are in charge of running each hostel and stimulating a warm homely environment. There is also a special hostel for research scholars at Nivedita Bhavan.

Sports and games facilities are available on campus, imparting regular instruction to students to hone their athletic, physical, and sporting abilities. There are huge playing grounds on campus and courts and equipment for sports including football, badminton, cricket, basketball, volleyball, and swimming. All competitive games are played at the Ashrama Stadium. Indoor sports facilities are also available for table tennis and carrom. There is also a multi-gym and a modern swimming pool where students regularly practice swimming.

RKMRC Kolkata has a well-equipped hospital “Arogya Bhavana” containing 27 beds for Ashramites, offering round-the-clock medical treatment. A dentist, ophthalmologist, pathologist, ENT expert, and other specialists make weekly visits in addition to the qualified doctors who are there regularly. The campus also has an Ayurvedic dispensary and a pathology section with modern facilities.

RKMRC Kolkata houses four dining halls for students and one for teachers and staff serving sustainable and healthful food.
