PSGR Krishnammal College for Women, Coimbatore consists of Chandrakanthi Memorial Professional Library, GR Govindarajulu Memorial General Library, and 17 other departmental libraries that have a collection of several important resources including 61800 books, journals, 144 periodicals, and magazines. The digital library of PSGRKCW has numerous e-books, e-journals, and access to databases such as DELNET, INFLIBNET, and EBSCO. PSGRKCW, Coimbatore has well-furnished and properly maintained hostels for the students.
PSGRKCW offers eight hostels and has several amenities such as a gym, library, photocopying, laundry, free wifi connectivity, beauty parlour, stores, and delicious non-veg and veg cuisine for the inmates. The college ensures 24/7 security for its students. It is guarded by professional security personnel. PSGRKCW offers its students a wonderful sporting facility that is partially funded by UGC.
The GRG Centenary Sports Arena is laid with synthetic courts for various sporting activities such as basketball, boxing, volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. The sports arena is equipped with the latest amenities such as an electronic scoreboard, CCTV, rest room, VIP room, furnished dormitories, warehouse, lockers, and 1200-seater gallery. PSGRKCW also provides health and fitness options for its students. The GRG Purple Hues Fitness Studio has 2 fully equipped modern gyms with a range of weights and cardiovascular training equipment such as ExerCycles, Rowing boat, Treadmill, Cross Trainer-EFX, etc. To facilitate modern education, internet requirements are a must.
PSGRKCW provides high bandwidth wifi connectivity 24/7 for the students, faculty members, and staff within the campus. To provide a top-notch teaching-learning experience, the classrooms are spacious, well-furnished, and effectively ventilated. It is also equipped with projectors and screens. PSGRKCW campus has several state-of-the-art computer and science labs fitted with technologically advanced gadgets, apparatus, and instruments for providing the best practical experience to the students. PSGRKCW’s GRG Cafeteria is FSSAI-certified, provides a variety of flavoursome dishes, and can accommodate up to 200 students.
The dining hall has a capacity of 500 people and provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. To streamline banking procedures and transactions, an ATM of IDBI bank has been set up inside the campus. PSGRKCW has a fleet of 13 buses that travel between the college hostel and the campus.
The transportation facility ensures that students can arrive on time for their classes and safely since the buses are piloted by extremely experienced drivers. PSGRKCW organises salient meetings, conferences, and seminars which are held in the Chandra Seminar Hall and the Conference Hall. Both halls are equipped with projectors and screens. The campus has two marvelous auditoriums, first one is the open auditorium which has a seating capacity of 4000+ members and the second one is the GRG Centenary Sports Arena auditorium. Appropriate healthcare facilities are also available for the students.
