PSGIMSR, Coimbatore offers an undergraduate course in MBBS, a postgraduate M.Ch course in pediatric surgery, postgraduate MD courses in TBRD, Radiology, Psychiatry, pediatrics, orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and GYN, General Surgery, General Medicine, ENT, DVL, Anesthesiology, Community Medicine, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, Physiology, Biochemistry, and MS course in anatomy. The college also offers diplomas in Pediatric Medicine, Orthopedics, Tuberculosis and chest diseases, Otorhinolaryngology, Osteopathic medicine, Dermatology Venereology and Leprosy, Obstetrics and Gyn, Child Health, and Anaesthology.

For applying for the MBBS course, a candidate needs to clear the National Entrance Eligibility Test (NEET). Admissions for MBBS courses will be based on the merits secured through the NEET examination. For admissions, in MS and MD courses a candidate is required to clear the NEET PG examination.
PSGIMSR, Coimbatore has a Central Library that consists of numerous textbooks, reference books, journals, periodicals, medical dissertations, e-books, e-journals and access to databases for the academic and informational purposes of students and staff. Girls and boys both have their separate hostels. The well-constructed and furnished hostels have a set of amenities ensuring students can get a feeling of home even when they are away from their homes. PSGIMSR, Coimbatore has ten acres of extensive sporting fields including cricket and football fields, basketball, volleyball, and tennis court with artificial surfaces and flood lights. Other sporting courts include badminton, ball badminton, kho-kho, throwball, and tennikoit. The hostels and the department of physical education provide indoor games facilities for carrom, chess, and carrom. The large gymnasium at the campus is equipped with advanced training equipment. PSGIMSR, Coimbatore’s canteen ensures that students and faculty can enjoy mouthwatering and hygienic food at subsidized rates. The PSG Student Wellness Center addresses the psychological and personal needs of the students.

The campus of PSGIMSR, Coimbatore has well-constructed, spacious, and properly ventilated classrooms to create a conducive teaching-learning environment for students and staff.
