The ODGI Library and Information Centre mainly holds books related to engineering, architecture, and allied subjects. The Centre houses both traditional and digital libraries, each consisting of a reading area, internet browsing terminals, reference section, open access periodical display and backup volume archives. The library provides NPTEL facility to access video lectures and DELNET access for resource sharing. The library has a collection of over 13000 volumes of text and reference books, and more than 60 journals and periodicals. Members can also access a large number of digital and online texts, and multiple online journals to which ODGI subscribes.
All the departments of ODGI have modern well-equipped laboratories. The B.Tech and B.Arch departments have state-of-the-art dedicated laboratories, along with other supporting labs. There are two Physics and one Chemistry lab, along with one Mathematics library with MATLAB to run simulations and a Language laboratory with ORELL for the humanities section. Recognising the healthy presence of sports in students' lives, ODGI have both indoor and outdoor sports arenas within the campus. Outdoor sports include football, cricket, badminton, tennis, volleyball, etc. The indoor facilities come with a fully equipped modern gymnasium and games such as table tennis in the recreation room.
ODGI offers bus service along 5 different routes covering all of Kolkata, and parts of Howrah and South 24 Parganas. Each bus is monitored by 3 CCTV cameras and a centralised GPRS system, linked with the central server room at Ruby Park, Kolkata. Each of them is equipped with fire safety facilities and a first aid box. Additionally, backup is also at hand in case any bus breaks down on the way. Hostel facilities are also available for both boys and girls, and seats are provided on a first-come-first-serve basis.
