OmDayal Group of Institutions, Uluberia (ODGI) was established in 2010 with the vision of tutoring progressive engineers and architects with creativity and innovation. ODGI is committed to providing quality education to students by enabling them to flourish in the fields of Engineering and Architecture and allowing them to contribute meaningfully to society's and industry's changing needs. ODGI is located at Uluberia Industrial Growth Centre on National Highway 6, about 30km away from Kolkata and within walking distance from Bishibpur Railway Station.
OmDayal Group of Institutions offers 5 full-time undergraduate courses, 1 in Architecture and 4 in Engineering. The courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Council Of Architecture (COA). The architecture course is B.Arch is of 5 years. The Engineering courses, for 4 years, are B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Students can enrol in any undergraduate course by qualifying either WBJEE or JEE-Main and undergoing the subsequent counselling process, or visit ODGI for direct admission. ODGI strives to provide excellent dedicated faculty in all departments as well as experienced technical assistants to enhance the learning experience of students. ODGI has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell which provides placement assistance to all final-year students. The Cell organises recruitment drives every year, as well as provides internship opportunities and pre-placement training for the students. Renowned organisations such as Amazon, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, CodeClouds, etc. take part in the placement programmes of ODGI, with students securing packages as high as 9 LPA.
The Library and Information Centre at OmDayal Group of Institutions, in addition to being a vast storehouse of subject-related physical and digital texts, also has a large reading area, internet browsing terminals, a reference section, open access periodical display, and backup volume archives. The campus has both an outdoor sports arena, with provisions for football, cricket, tennis and volleyball, as well as indoor sports facility, with facilities for table tennis and a fully equipped gymnasium. Modern well-equipped laboratories aid students of ODGI, in their quest for knowledge. The campus also has a cafeteria, auditoriums, seminar halls, and emergency medical facilities for the students to avail of. ODGI offers well-monitored bus service along 5 different routes covering all of Kolkata, and parts of Howrah and South 24 Parganas. Each bus is monitored by CCTV cameras and a centralised GPRS system, linked with the central server room at Ruby Park, Kolkata. Separate hostels for boys and girls are present on the ODGI campus as well. Students can avail various scholarship schemes provided by the Central and the state governments to aid with finances in their academic endeavours.

Admission Procedure
OmDayal Group of Institutions, Uluberia admits students via the counselling process of the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). Interested candidates can also visit the ODGI for direct admission. For WBJEEB counselling, candidates have to register for the e-counselling process at the WBJEEB portal. After completion of the counselling process, students can report to ODGI for admission. A valid National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE-Main) score is required for taking admission in the B.Arch course. The minimum required qualification to apply to any of the undergraduate courses at ODGI is passing 10+2 level examination from a science background.

The Training and Placement Cell of OmDayal Group of Institutions, Uluberia invites over 50 companies to take part in the recruitment drive each year. The Cell aims to provide 100% placement assistance by registering all interested final-year students. ODGI has been helping students to get placed in organisations such as Infosys, Accenture, Amazon, Capgemini, Cognizant, CodeClouds TATA Projects, etc. since 2014. The Training and Placement Cell arranges various training programmes for students in third year and above. Reputed external training organisations and in-house trainers take students through mock interviews, aptitude tests, group discussions, and other exercises helpful in securing jobs in the industry. The Cell also provides internship opportunities for students to help them gather hands-on experience in a professional environment.
Scholarships
OmDayal Group of Institutions, Uluberia allows students to benefit from various government scholarship schemes. These include "Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship" and the "OASIS Scholarship" for financially weak students offered by the Government of West Bengal. Students can also apply for various state and central government scholarship schemes through the National Scholarship Portal, launched by the Ministry of Electronics and Information technology, Government of India.
