Nitte Mahalinga Adyantaya Memorial Institute of Technology, Udupi is situated on an expansive and sprawling green campus spread over 125 acres of land in the South-Indian Western Ghats near the Kudremukh ranges. The campus has well-equipped modern academic and extra-curricular facilities to facilitate well-rounded holistic education for its students.
The NMAMIT, Udupi campus houses 72 spacious and well-equipped classrooms, 20 tutorial rooms, 66 laboratories, two drawing halls, and two computer centres. The central library can accommodate up to 750 students and houses 86947 volumes of texts and reference books and 204 periodicals (national and international). In addition, the digital library functions as an online repository housing several e-resources and databases.
There are two air-conditioned auditoriums equipped with modern audio-visual aids technologies; the Sambhram Auditorium has a seating capacity of 350 while the Shambhavi Auditorium has a seating capacity of 150. There are three air-conditioned and well-equipped seminar halls: the Sowparnika Seminar Hall and the Phalguni Seminar Hall have a seating capacity of 100 each while the MCA Seminar Hall has a seating capacity of 125. The Sadananda Open Air Auditorium is equipped with a seating capacity of 5000 people and has sound systems, projectors and internet facilities installed on the premises.
The campus also has two banks with ATM facilities, three cafeterias serving hygienic multi-cuisine food, and a medical centre with experienced personnel and emergency ambulance services available to address medical emergencies. The institute also has a medicare scheme for students entitling them to dental and medical treatment.
Sports facilities on campus include courts and grounds for football, hockey, throwball, handball, and volleyball. There are three cement and clay pitches for cricket, an indoor wooden court and an outdoor court for basketball, a 400-metre athletic turf track, and three badminton courts in the indoor stadium. There is an indoor gymnasium housing a well-equipped gym and indoor games facilities for chess and carrom.
NMAMIT, Udupi is a semi-residential campus and offers separate hostel accommodation facilities for boys and girls. The campus houses seven hostels for boys and four hostels for girls. Every room is furnished with cots, tables, chairs, wardrobes, and a ceiling fan. The accommodation infrastructure also includes a vegetarian and non-vegetarian mess available for residential students.
