Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata provides some good infrastructural facilities to its students.
The first thing that comes in this line is the library. The main goal of the Central Library is to serve as an important component in assisting medical professionals in enhancing and updating their knowledge and skills, as well as to provide them with information on new innovations, viewpoints, theories, and treatments for better patient care, medical education, and research. The Central Library was founded in 1950 in the former Infectious Disease Word, and after many moves, it ultimately settled in its current position. It has been an important source of reference for the students and faculty since its inception. The library's centrally air-conditioned reading rooms can accommodate a considerable number of people.
Several sports facilities, like a football ground, are also available.
Boys and girls can have separate hostel accomodation at NRSMC&H. There are adequate hostel rooms for UG students. They are assigned to hostels based on room availability. To satisfy the needs of students, all hostels are equipped with basic amenities.
There are sufficient labs for every subject. All the labs are well-equipped and fully furnished for better learning and research.
There are several canteens that serve good veg and non-veg food to the students. NRSMC&H has well-furnished classrooms with projectors for the better learning of the students.
There is an auditorium that is well-equipped with sophisticated audio and visual equipment and can hold many people. All professional seminars, conferences, and other important gatherings are held in the auditorium.
