Narasinha Dutt College located in Howrah, West Bengal, is one of the premier educational institutions in the region. Despite being located in an industrial belt, the college campus is like an oasis with its old trees, lush green foliage, seasonal flowers, and a pleasant water body. The facilities attract students from both rural and urban areas of Howrah. The college is known for its excellent infrastructure which includes a traditional library supplied with e- resources digitally, labs, a cafeteria, and medical facilities. The traditional library of the college houses a vast collection of books in all fields of study. Books can be borrowed by patrons. Recently the library organised the first book fair in the history of this college. Students can access a digital library, where they can find online materials, such as e-books, journals, research papers, and other resources.
NDC Howrah provides 7 labs for the students, including physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, and electronics, as well as a language lab for language students. All these labs are equipped with the latest technology and equipment, making the educational experience more effective and enjoyable. NDC Howrah also has a cafeteria, where students can find a variety of snacks and beverages to fuel their studies. The cafeteria also serves meals at lunch and dinner, making it convenient for students to get a nutritious meal. NDC Howrah also provides medical facilities for its students. There is a hospital, where students can get immediate medical attention in cases of emergency.
