Manipal College of Dental Sciences Mangalore is one of the premier dental colleges in the country. The infrastructure on the campus is equipped with the latest technology. The library on the campus has a sufficient quantity of books and other information materials to meet the information demands of both undergraduate and graduate students are sufficient in providing information to students. The library offers a section for UG and PG materials as well as one for journaling past issues and current issues. The pupils can also use the Internet and photocopier machines. The digital library on campus provides students with access to more resources.
MCDS Mangalore has separate hostels for boys and girls. Bejai New Hostel (MBBS & BDS), one of the many hostels in the MAHE in Mangalore, accommodates dental students.
Students are encouraged to participate in various sports activities and MCDS Mangalore has made provisions for basketball and other indoor sports. The gym on the campus helps the students to maintain their physical fitness and focuses on their physical health.
MCDS Mangalore has separate labs for each of its departments. The Department Of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Department of Dental Materials, Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Department of Oral Pathology, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Department of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, Department of Periodontology, Department of Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, and Department of Public Health Dentistry have separate laboratories in the campus.
The canteen on the campus aims to serve students with healthy and nutritious food at affordable prices. The medical team on the campus provides medical care and attention to all the students who need medical attention. The campus is facilitated with high-speed internet and all students can have access to it. The classrooms are equipped with smartboards, projectors, speakers and microphones. MCDS Mangalore has an auditorium which is equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment.
