Kuvempu University, Shivamogga is indeed praiseworthy with respect to its infrastructural amenities that it extends for the betterment of students paramount.
The entire campus of KU Shivamogga is Wi-Fi enabled to ensure uninterrupted internet services. The classrooms at KU Shivamogga are wide, spacious, well ventilated to ensure a comfortable environment for learning. There are also digital classrooms with smart technology services and video conferencing facilities.
KU Shivamogga owns a large and well-equipped library with a rich collection of 1,20,960 books, 224 periodicals, 6,165 back volumes of periodicals, and 3,633 theses. Additionally, the library offers users access to internet databases, portals, and journals. In accordance with the UGC Internet Center's e-Shodh Sindhu program, the library has access to more than 7000 electronic resources. The digital hub of the library has access to a large number of e-books, e-journals, and online databases along with access to more than 7000 e-resources across the multiple branches of studies. E-Resources are delivered to the library via INFLIBNET in collaboration with E-shodh Sindhu. As laboratories are necessary for the studies, numerous course-specific labs are equipped with modernized machinery, equipment, and apparatus intended for the students' better understanding of the subject matter through minute observation and practical application.
Hostel facilities with separate dorms for boys and girls have also been provided who reside far away from the university or who need it. KU Shivamogga houses a canteen serving good hygienic food at affordable prices. Mess facilities are also available. There are four dorms for postgraduate students two for men and two for women. The hostels also have two Multipurpose Halls.
A well-designed seminar hall or a conference hall equipped with top-notch A/V facilities has also been provided. Sports facilities are also available to serve the quest for games and other physical activities. A multipurpose playfield of 6000 square meters has been provided to let the students take part in various indoor and outdoor sports. There are provisions for football, cricket, volleyball, and tennis courts followed by a 200-meter long-running track, and an indoor court for table tennis. An indoor complex of 2500 square meters is there. Among other games, there are provisions for hockey, kabaddi, wrestling, judo, yoga, pole vault, and high jump beds with cover.
Medical facilities are extended in any kind of emergency. A cafeteria is there to serve quality foods and beverages throughout the day at reasonable prices. An office of the State Bank of India is there inside the campus to assist in financial transactions.
