Kuvempu University, Shivamogga (KU Shivamogga) is a UGC-recognised state university that is named after the famous Kannada writer KUVEMPU. Since its inception in 1987, KU Shivamogga has come a long way and through its exemplary academic excellence, it carved a niche for itself among the famous institutes in India. The university paves its path on the motto of "holistic education for all".
KU Shivamogga is aimed at disseminating quality education that is competent both globally and nationally alongside inculcating value, morality, equity, and integrity into the future endeavors of the country. KU Shivamogga has a vast range of academic programs across multidimensional specializations of science, arts, commerce, science, and management, etc offering only postgraduate and research programs. Admission Procedure
Kuvempu University, Shivamogga offers a number of PG programs. Download the Application at www.kuvempu.ac.in, the university website. Application forms must be completed and sent in person or by mail to the relevant department along with copies of all required certificates and documentation. KU Shivamogga will administer an entrance exam for admission to the MA in Journalism and Mass Communication, M.P.Ed., and B.P.Ed. programmes. Admission to MBA and MCA programmes requires passing the Common Entrance Test, which is administered by Examination Authority of Karnataka. To make up for the open seats in these departments, KU Shivamogga holds a supplementary entrance exam.
Faculty
Kuvempu University, Shivamogga has a dedicated and skilled faculty. The mission of the faculty is to establish KU Shivamogga as an international centre of excellence for both teaching and research.
Placements
