The Kunjali Marakkar School of Marine Engineering, Kochi library is one of the best scientific and technical libraries in the shipping industry. It has a wide collection of needful resources in the field of Marine Engineering and Shipping, including IMO publications and free online journals. The library is partially automated and as the university's information center, the library has amassed a diverse, and dynamic collection on all aspects of engineering, science, and humanities, with a focus on marine engineering and naval architecture. The digital hub of the library provides free online access to all the foreign e-journals subscribed to by the University. For the cadets, CUSAT has created a ship-in campus.
This laboratory was established to instill and improve ideal marine engineering qualities, including survival techniques, with the assistance of highly experienced faculty. The machines assist in teaching cadets how to operate, troubleshoot, and develop a maintenance plan for modern complex machinery. A laboratory has been established to train in fire prevention, fire fighting, and calm, unflappable response to emergency situations.
Among other facilities, there are well-maintained hygienic cafeterias serving quality foods, medical emergency precautions, stable Wi-Fi connection, and smart digital classrooms promoting advancement in learning.
