KIIT School of Biotechnology, Bhubaneswar, provides state-of-the-art infrastructure to aid scholars in their pursuit of expertise and excellence.

The Central Library of KSBT contains over 1,018,434 books, 16,806 bound volumes, 665 current subscriptions to print journals, magazines, newspapers, etc., and over 500 videos and about 3000 CDs. With subscriptions to 17 e-databases and more than 12,000 e-journals, a vast amount of e-resources are also made available for all students and researchers to access at their convenience.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls within the campus. Each hostel boarder is provided with a cot, mattress, study table, chair, book rack, and wardrobe. Every hostel has uninterrupted power supply power, hot water during the winter, a water cooler with Aquaguard filters, a recreation hall, a gymnasium, and indoor games provisions.

KSBT has an exhaustive list of sports facilities, which includes 12 sports complexes within the larger campus of KIIT, having provisions for a large variety of games and sporting events. The 2 largest complexes are: KIIT Stadium, with a capacity of 40000 can hold day and night events and matches of cricket (turf wicket), hockey (astroturf), kabaddi, football, volleyball, kho-kho, throwball, basketball, rugby, handball, netball and track and field (400 m). KIIT’s Central Indoor Stadium, aka Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, is the hub for indoor sports activities including basketball, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, billiards and snooker (air-conditioned), chess, carrom, Health Club, 12 station multi-gym and Yoga Centre.

KSBT has 21 cutting-edge laboratories, air-conditioned and multimedia-equipped classrooms, auditoriums, seminar halls and open-air theatres for the scholars to avail. The cafeteria serves multi-cuisine food, and the Institute has its own fleet of buses and shuttles. The entire campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled and multiple banks and ATMs are present within the campus for the convenience of the scholars. Medical facilities for all students and staff are provided free of charge by a 1300 bedded super specialty hospital attached to Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences, a KIIT University constituent.
