The campus life at JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty is worthy enough to offer a great learning experience. A stable wi-fi connection is activated and continuously powered to ensure an uninterrupted internet connection inside the college premises. The central library contains near about 11000 books, pharmaceutical journals, encyclopedias, dictionaries, indexes, manuals, and periodicals. Digital resources are also there in the format of e-books and e-journals.
Laboratories are fully resourced and equipped with necessary samples and apparatus for practicing and learning different theorems including Plant tissue culture, designing and developing advanced drug delivery systems, pharmaceutical microbiology, biotechnology, and genomics.
RT-PCR, Computer Aided Drug Design (CADD), and Herbal formulation and development are available. A multipurpose auditorium is there on campus that can accommodate nearly 550 people and is utilized for exams, events, meetings, games, and recruitment drives as well.
A cafeteria serving hygienic food is provided. Hostels are provided with advanced features and amenities. There are provided separate dorms for males and females with an accommodation of 250 students in each. The Boy's hostel is around 4,000 square meters while Girl's hostel is about 3,000 square meters. The hostel of JSSCP Ooty provides all the facilities needed for a healthy life. 24*7 power backup, high security, hot and cold water, and laundry are there inside the housing complex. To ensure the services there are supervisors who keep monitoring the hostel’s hygiene and meal services.
Health centers and a pharmacy are available inside the campus. Separate provisions for sports and games including Badminton, Basketball, and Volleyball are allotted. National standard running tracks are there inside the campus. A well-equipped gym is available with separate areas for boys and girls with weightlifting equipment, aerobic machines, and free weights. Students can also avail indoor games like carrom, chess, and table tennis in their college. Students can have one extension counter of the Punjab National Bank ATM facility inside the campus.
