JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty (JSSCP Ooty) is a college undertaken by JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru. Founded in 1980, JSSCP Ooty is focused on providing industry-based academic curriculums, teaching, and training to ensure employability and professionalism among the students and achieve a reputation.
The vision of JSSCP Ooty is to achieve a place as a leading body in the industry of pharmaceutical sciences through consistent development of patient care, and drug discovery. Affiliated to the deemed-to-be-university JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru; JSSCP Ooty offers a wide range of program courses including undergraduate, postgraduate, and diplomas.
The admission procedure is held online where the students are required to pass 10+2 or equivalent with pure science subjects as compulsory. The faculties are expertise in the field of pharmaceutical sciences and they follow frequent theoretical and practical assessments. The placement cell strives hard to ensure the maximum number of students at least 70-80% of students get placed in reputed organizations.
JSSCP Ooty provides Tata Scholarship to Bachelor's and Master's candidates to them only those who have completed at least the first year of study in Medical Sciences and Healthcare streams.

Admission Procedure
There is an online application process for the JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty. Candidates for JSSCP Ooty must have successfully completed 10+2 or any exams comparable thereto from a recognised board, with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology being the required courses. Candidates must complete the application form for B.Pharm by selecting the proper alternatives for admission exams. Candidates must upload the necessary documents and complete the necessary information for the entrance examination as applicable for the chosen phase. Prior to choosing a course of action, eligibility for the applicable phase must be confirmed.

JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty takes pride in a team of skilled professionals, teachers, and experts with vast experience in the Pharmacy sector. The Head of the Departments and professors engage themselves with the students in the practical and theoretical analysis of the study, in order to help the students in learning, gathering knowledge, and developing in the study of Pharmacy.
Placements
The Training and Placement Team of JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty provides placement services to students through campus interviews. The Training and Placement Office must receive the T&PC registration form willingness from the student before they may make an application to a specific business or organization. The office of the Training and Placement Cell will inform the registered students of the opportunities to secure one job at the first instance, and it follows the one student, one job policy until at least 70/80% (depending on the discipline) of the students in a particular branch/discipline get a job. Once a student is chosen for an on-campus interview, the student also needs to go for an off-campus interview. Students selected through campus interview needs to go through a medical test before the final placement. After interviewing the students who made the final cut, the organization will make the announcement the findings as soon as it is practicable. Students are not personally informed of the final choice. By the end of the procedure, the results are presented to the Training and Placement Team of JSSCPO. Some of the recruiters who visit JSSCP Ooty are Apollo Pharmacy, Pfizer, Fortis Hospitals, Biocon, Novartis, AstraZeneca, Ranbaxy, and many more.
