JIS College of Engineering, Kalyani provides a range of facilities such as a library with 89880 books in total, 8494 titles and 225 journals, both national and international. The library has an RFID-based LMS-LIB MAN & LIBSYS software system with digital resources like Dspace and OPAC.
The students are accommodated in separate male and female hostels. Hostel No. 1 Vivekananda Boy's Hostel has a capacity of 250 beds, including 136 residence halls for the boys, while Hostel No. 2 Nivedita Girl's Hostel has a capacity of 312 beds, including 96 residence halls for the girls.
JISCOE, Kalyani's sports complex provides a range of facilities for students to engage in athletics including a field, pool tables, table tennis tables, and more as well as a gym facility for the students to maintain a good and healthy physique for a proper physical and mental balance to concentrate on the subject of courses more effectively.
The students have access to 71 smart classrooms, 21 tutorial rooms and 24 "flipped classrooms" for an enhanced learning environment with more practical knowledge as well as 57 distinct labs for students from various disciplines, each with a total of 1205 computers to facilitate their practical learning. Additionally, this facility has 20 cutting-edge laboratories with cutting-edge research facilities, and two auditoriums—the Dr B.C. Roy Auditorium, which can accommodate 350 people and the CMS Auditorium, which can accommodate 150 people—as well as two conference rooms for organising any large-scale educational programmes.
Other amenities include two hygienic cafeterias where students and faculty can eat good and healthy meals in a clean and well-maintained dining environment. Students are also provided with medical treatment, including free health screenings for everybody and an emergency cell staffed by in-house medical practitioners. The unit has arrangements with a bus and a solar-powered toto built by students from the Mechanical Engineering department for use as their means of transportation into and out of the campus. Affiliations with nearby nursing homes for ambulance services is there for emergency medical situations.
