Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai delivers exemplary infrastructure to its pupils to feed their needs and necessities of academic life. The whole campus is consisting 15 lecture rooms in total. To ensure the student can practice their class sessions specified kitchens with modern equipment are allotted that are well furnished, and well maintained. There are 6 banquet halls for workshops, interviews, and conducting important events.
The libraries are well stocked, with books and other resources like e-books, we journals related to different courses offered by the university. The Quantity Food Kitchen is provided that is used to train Semester 3 and Semester 4 students of the BSc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course. It is mainly used for bulk food products and services for the dining hall. The Basic Training Kitchen is used to train Semester 1 and Semester 2 students of the BSc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration course. The demo kitchen is also there for baking, and chocolate making.
Fully equipped computer Labs are there that are mainly used for hands-on training in Property management software used by hotels. IHM, Mumbai has its own formal fine dining restaurant Fusion which consists of a Gourmet Club, operational for lunch and dinner, and serves guests on an Ala carte or buffet basis. Fusion sits approximately 100 pax for a meal.
The boys’ hostel has an accommodation of 45 well-furnished rooms with a capacity of three persons at a time. The girls' hostel also consists of 20 spacious rooms which are also of three capacity settings. NRI hostel with 9 rooms is also available for girls only admitted in the NRI quota.
