ICFAI University, Sikkim is situated in Lower Sichey, Gangtok on a sprawling campus spanning over 6.5 acres with a built-up area of 71,350 square feet equipped with modern facilities. The IU Sikkim campus has acquired a 17-acre land in Lingdok, Gangtok which is to be equipped with skill-building infrastructure to promote industry skill initiatives in collaboration with industries and provide firsthand skill-development experiences to students. The campus is CCTV-surveilled round the clock and Wi-Fi-enabled with 45-Mbps Wi-Fi connectivity.
There are smart classrooms equipped with the latest LCD projectors and audio-visual equipment. The IU Sikkim library is well-stocked with a variety of books, journals, magazines, periodicals, and newspapers while the digital library hosts a virtual repository of e-resources and databases. There are well-equipped laboratories such as the English language lab, IT lab, computer lab/centre, and BHM lab equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure.
The campus houses meeting halls, an auditorium with a seating capacity of 200 people equipped with a state-of-the-art audio-visual system, and a 150-seater seminar hall. The campus also offers bus and shuttle services for student and faculty transportation. Other campus facilities include a career counselling centre and a legal aid cell, instituted in collaboration with the Sikkim Legal Services Authority (SLSA), open to university members as well as outsiders.
Sports facilities on campus include courts, grounds, and equipment for football, cricket, badminton, volleyball, futsal, and table tennis. There is a recreation room as well as indoor games facilities for carrom, chess, and ludo.
IU Sikkim is not a residential campus but offers well-equipped empanelled hostels around the campus premises with separate hostels for boys and girls. The campus houses a sick room with basic first-aid facilities as well as a clinic and a first-aid centre. The campus also has an efficient fire-fighting system, a water-harvesting system, and modern filtration technologies.
